Interior Design Proposal - Bathroom Unit

Bachata Rosa Restaurant, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Following the colonial style that can be perceived at the restaurant Bachata Rosa, this proposal for bathroom units integrates the same style. The use of mosaics, wood, and concrete maintains the connection with the architecture of that period, as it can be seen in the old part of Santo Domingo and in the overall experience translated to the main dinning area of the restaurant.

In addition, the use of neon signs and the integration of umbrellas as lighting units bring a modern touch to the space, continuing with the reference of songs by the dominican singer and writer Juan Luis Guerra, owner of the restaurant.

The color palette and textures are expressed the same as the rest of the areas, combining orange and pink tones with touches of blue in special pieces. This palette is also used as the main reference for the lighting design and the creation of the overall mood of the area.
