" It's 1864. General Shermann has arrived to Savannah. The city caught him with its charm. Abraham Lincoln receives the city as a Christmas gift from Shermann, but then, the war happened. The destroyed city has to come back from the ashes and Lincoln decided one thing: use a beautiful building in the commercial area to keep a piece of Savannah in its interior... just in case another catastrophe happen.

It looks like a typical factory from the 1800's. But in its interior it holds secret enchanting gardens, and that particular Southern look of the area. He Recycled Savannah in a piece of architecture."

Recycling + Savannah = ART

The first floor works as an Art Center and the recycling Center, where the materials are classified. Both places opened to the public appreciation. The Center collects materials that can be used to create art pieces of all kind, that can finally be displayed in the same location.

The second Floor works as a store, where people can find materials for their new pieces of art.

The third floor includes the adminitrative areas and workshops.

The gears in the front of the building work as shading screens and they move, (Sun panels on top) creating a unique experience on the inside of the building with the interaction of the Sun and shadows.
